The Foundation continues to promote higher education by offering scholarships to deserving high school graduates. Our Special Projects and Gymnasium Projects support our efforts to collect, preserve and share the stories and memories of SWHS and the area’s African American community. Consider partnering with us with your contribution.
Scholarship (Dime-A-Day for Education Fund)
$ 36.50 or a more generous donation for the Education Fund
Scholarships are awarded to deserving students each year. Eight $1000.00 scholarships were awarded in 2020. Contributions are tax deductible.
Special Projects
Special Projects funds support our efforts to collect, preserve, and share the stories of Second Ward and the area's African American community. Contributions may be tax deductible.
House/Museum
Give a donation that represents the year you graduated or last attended, or more in those numbers. ( Ex: $19.49 or $194.00 - 1949 graduation or last year attended) These funds pay for housing expenses and maintenance.
